What’s Round She Goes?

Round She Goes is an award-winning fashion market dedicated to women’s preloved fashion. At Round She Goes you can buy preloved designer labels and quality vintage fashion, accessories and jewellery from many different stallholders. Actual market events are held in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide and now we’re online too!

How do I buy something on Round She Goes online?
First thing’s first. Register as a user to the site. Now, have a browse, you’ll probably find something you like. 

Found something? Okay! Add it to your cart.

If you’re ready to purchase this item, click Proceed to Checkout. You’ll be taken to a PayPal page. Items will remain in your cart for 30 minutes. If they are not purchased in that time, they will return to the shelf. 

Once you pay for your item, you’ll be returned to the Round She Goes website to see a summary of your purchase. 


What payment methods do you accept?
Round She Goes online accepts PayPal. PayPal is similar to paying by credit card. PayPal is a safe and secure way to pay online.  You can either log in to your PayPal account orpay with a credit or debit card. To be eligible for PayPal’s Buyer Protection, you’ll need to pay login and pay via your account.


Can I buy an item off this site, for instance pick it up?
Taking transactions ‘offline’ or attempting to conduct a transaction through means other than the Round She Goes checkout page, is against Round She Goes’ terms and conditions. Users that violate this policy are at risk for permanent account termination. You can report a seller who asks you this by emailing us. We do monitor the internal emails and know if this is being arranged.


How do I contact a Seller?
Round She Goes has an internal messaging system, look for the envelope icon at the top right hand corner of any page. You’ll need to know the Seller’s username and just type it in the To field.


How long does delivery take?
Similar to eBay, Round She Goes stallholders/sellers are responsible for dispatching the items you have purchased directly to you. They have the ability to mark an item as shipped, so you can check this status by logging into your account and checking under My Purchases.


How much is postage/delivery?
Each stallholder will list the delivery cost on the listing of each item. The charges range from free right through to international shipping rates and discounts for multiple purchases from one store.


I like something but I’m not ready to buy it. How do I remember where it is?
Round She Goes has a ‘Favourite’ heart button that you can click if you like something and want to remember where it is. It’s on the right hand corner of the image. A list of items you have favourited will be stored in your account.


I want to buy a few things from different sellers. Will they appear as one transaction?
No they won’t. Buying from the Round She Goes online market is just like buying from different stalls at an actual market: you are shopping from different stallholders and therefore each transaction with a stallholder/shop is a separate sale. 


I’m looking for something in particular. How do I search for it?
You can search by category (dresses etc) and then by condition of items (ie, is it brand new with tags, preloved, etc). You can also just search for a particular brand if you like or size by entering this into the search bar at the top of the home page.


Is Round She Goes Online secure?
Yes. We use DigiCert SSL Protection/Data encryption and take security very seriously. 

We have worked with one of the best development company’s possible to ensure our site is safe and secure. We are committed to maintaining excellent privacy and security and you can be assured your information is safe with Round She Goes.


Do you store my credit card details?
No we don’t store anything like that because you’re taken to the PayPal website to complete the payment for your item/s. Just like at a real market event, the transaction is between you the buyer and the seller and Round She Goes organisers are just providing the opportunity for you to meet. The payment for the item is made via a separate PayPal window. So just like with any PayPal transaction, the buyer’s credit card information is not stored on our site. 


I have placed an order but decided not to go through with the payment. The item is no longer in my cart. Where is the item so I can complete the purchase?
Click on ‘My Account’ in the top blue bar. Then under ‘Payments’ choose ‘My invoices’.

There is a blue tab on this page which has ‘Paid’ and ‘Unpaid’ and ‘All’. Choose ‘unpaid’. On the listing that you wish to purchase choose ‘pay now’

 It may be possible that they item sold in the time that you didn’t pay for it! That’s a bit of you snooze, you loose. Sorry about that. But we’re confident you’ll find something else you like from our great selection of stallholders!


What is your refunds and exchanges policy?
All the stallholders that are selling on our website have individual returns and refunds policies, so it’s best to visit their shop page if you want to seek a refund. It is always good to email and try and communicate with the seller first to try and come to an acceptable outcome. The stallholders endeavour to provide as much information as possible when listing an item to give you an accurate representation of the items quality, size and history.  If you’re not sure about something, send the stallholder a message before you make the purchase.

When buying from a professional seller, you have the same legal refund rights with second-hand items as you would with a new item.

However, you cannot claim a refund for problems that:

 – the store or seller told you about

 – you should have noticed when examining the item

 – were indicated in photos or the item description on the website

According to consumer law, a seller who:

 – lists an ABN or company name on their web page or profile

 – has a high volume of items for sale or

 – has been trading for a number of years,

 may be running a business.  Read more about the distinction here

Australian consumer law does not apply when people buy from a private seller. There is a distinction for those who could be considered businesses professional (not private).

If you want to lodge a claim for a refund/exchange, you can do this through the Round She Goes website to notify the seller. Log into your account and go to My Invoices. There you will see all of your purchases. The far right column is the Action column, and you can click ‘lodge a refund request’ and this will send through your request to the seller.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome from the seller, and you paid for the item via your PayPal account, you can raise a dispute via PayPal within 45 days of paying for the item, via PayPal’s Buyer Protection. Here is the link

What if my purchased item doesn’t arrive?
Contact the seller to ensure it has been shipped. Ask them for the Australia Post tracking number and check with Australia Post on the status of the item.

If the seller shipped the item and it’s been lost in the post, you’ll need to lodge a dispute through PayPal. Here is the link.


How do I know a designer label item is authentic?

It is stipulated in the terms and conditions that Round She Goes does not permit its sellers to sell counterfeit or fake brands and designers. The seller should have provided authenticity details and images and you can always email them for further proof if you have hesitations. If you do happen to spot something listed you think is questionable, please send an email to us so we can investigate.


How do I give feedback to a Seller after I have purchased something from them?
To give feedback, you'll need to log in to your account and then under the MY ACCOUNT heading (hover your mouse over it), you'll see the option to MANAGE FEEDBACK. Click on that and the under item/s you've purchased, you'll see the 'write review for seller'. Click on that and then you can write a comment and give a rating and click submit!
