The markets are held at PCYC Marrickville, 531 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204. The market is open to shoppers from 10am-3pm.
The participation cost of a business/hobby stall is is $140 and the cost for a wardrobe clearout stall is $130. The price includes gst, and one chair. Tables can be hired for $17 each (we source them from an external supplier).
Business/hobby stallholders are required to have their own market stall public liability insurance, if they do not have coverage, they can be included in the organiser’s policy (an extra $10 fee applies). Insurance is included for wardrobe clear out stallholders. A wardrobe clear out stall is for those who are selling their own personal items. A hobby or business stall is everyone else.
A stall has enough room to bring up to 2 racks and 1 table or 3 racks and no table. For jewellery there is space for 2 tables (in an L shape) and no racks.
Round She Goes Market is only for women’s fashion. Stallholders are not permitted to sell mens or childrenswear, homewares, drinks, books, candles or bric-a-brac, patterns or fabric.
The market does accept a small number of applications from makers of jewellery, skincare brands. For food and drink sales, please email us to discuss what is possible.
What can you sell?
Round She Goes Market is dedicated to women’s vintage and preloved fashion, handmade jewellery and accessories. The goods for sale must be strictly good quality preloved womenswear – basically garments and accessories you would wear yourself but no longer do due to sizing, etc. The items don’t have to be strictly designer, but they must be great quality or unique (not discount department store fast-fashion) and in terrific condition.
Fashion designers selling their own creations that they have made themselves in Australia are also welcome to apply.
Please understand that cheaply manufactured fast-fashion generally has no resale value so please carefully consider what you plan to sell before you apply for a stall.
We do not accept applications from retail stores selling new/remainder, seconds or new clearance items. The items sold at Round She Goes must be secondhand: vintage, retro or preloved designer. New with tags is okay for a few items as long as the majority of the seller’s stock is not like this. The only new items that can be sold are handmade jewellery, accessories, your own label/creations. Stallholders are not permitted to book a stall in order to promote their own events.
STEP 1: How do you apply for a stall?
Fill out an application form below (click the relevant box) after reading all of the information (the forms are only visible if applications are currently open. Please refer to the information at the top of this page to see the latest information).
A wardrobe clear out stall is for those who are selling their own personal items. A business/hobby stall is everyone else. Even if you’ve been a Round She Goes stallholder before, you do still need to apply for each market you’d like to be considered for. The organiser’s judge each application on its merit, so it’s worth making an effort! Applications lacking in detail won’t be accepted. Round She Goes receives lots of terrific applications and have to judge them based on the detail supplied. Organisers need to balance each event with different styles, sizes to suit a variety of budgets.
Please read the further terms and conditions before you apply for a stall. By applying for a stall, you agree to the terms and conditions.
STEP 2: What happens after you submit the application form?
Once you click ‘Submit’ the Round She Goes team will read your application and you will then receive an email (we will try and reply with 5-7 days but sometimes we receive hundreds of applications and they take time to process) letting you know whether your application is successful or not.
If your application is successful, you will then be asked to confirm your booking by paying via Square/card or bank deposit.
If you don’t hear from us right away please don’t apply again.
There is huge demand for stalls at Round She Goes, so payment must be made within 5 working days of receiving your stall offer email.
If the payment is not received in this time frame, the stall will be reallocated to someone else without you being notified and you will need to apply again (and you run the risk of the market selling out). Sorry, we just don’t have time to chase up non-payments.
Setting up and access on the day
One stall has enough room for 2 standard-sized clothing racks maximum (you can opt to not to use a table if you wish and bring three racks). A standard rack has one rail on it. The racks go on each side of your table. You must supply your own racks, we do not have racks available for hire. Jewellery or accessory sellers can use two tables (L-shape) and no racks.
A detailed information guide is emailed to our stallholders two weeks before the market. Stallholders set up from 8.30am with doors opening to the public at 10:00am. Stallholders can NOT pack up their stall any earlier than 3:00pm. Anyone who ignores this important requirement, will not be permitted to have a stall at Round She Goes again.
Stallholders need to bring your own clothes racks (limit of 2 if you bring/hire a table as well), coat hangers, table cloth and a float of change for the day.
Parking at PCYC Marrickville is free and many of the surrounding streets have untimed parking. Stallholders must move their cars out of the car park before 10am trading starts.
Round She Goes is not responsible for any loss or damage to your stuff. It is a good idea to have a mate with you on the day.
